Job summary

WTAE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Account Executive to sell advertising across TV and web to local businesses. You will solicit new clients, negotiate rates with agencies, and contribute to a high-performing local sales team.

Responsibilities include prospecting new businesses, delivering sales proposals, and achieving personal sales goals while collaborating with the Local Sales Manager. In-person attendance is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in media or digital sales
• Experience developing new business
• Strong negotiation skills
• Consultative, customer-focused sales approach
• Accountability within a goal-driven organization
• Must be a team player
• Experience selling to business owners
• Understand and use qualitative research to drive sales
• Related military experience will be considered
• In-person attendance is required

Responsibilities

• Produce revenue across all available platforms
• Prospect, contact and present to new businesses
