The candidate must have an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, one year CT experience, ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications, MRT certification in Texas, and

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required in Radiologic Technology.
• One year Radiology Technologist experience in acute care.
• One year CT experience required.
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• CT and cross-sectional anatomy coursework completed.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• BLS certification per policy.
• ARRT (R) certification and ARRt (CT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and CT exams per ARRT standards and department policies.
• Produce scans of diagnostic quality for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Follow established scanning and viewing protocols.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment efficiently.
• Complete quality scans in a timely manner while meeting customer standards.
• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and ensure availability of supplies.
