Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX, seeks a Multimodality Technologist supervised by a Radiologist. The role performs imaging in two or more modalities, with at least 25% of work in advanced areas such as CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or IR, serving ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician.

You will adhere to exam protocols, monitor radiation doses, use iSTAT for creatinine when needed, communicate with patients using AIDET, and maintain equipment and documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Less than 1 year of experience in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol.
• Monitors radiation dose and takes action if limits are exceeded.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET to ensure comfort.
• Maintains equipment and records per department policies.
