Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to operate imaging in two or more modalities under radiologist supervision. The role includes CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine or IR emphasis and supports both ambulatory and hospital patients.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited radiologic program and holds ARRT certifications; experience is welcome but less than 1 year is noted.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program required.
• ARRT certifications in CT/MR/NM/IR preferred.
• Less than 1 year of radiology experience noted.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol promptly.
• Demonstrates expertise in radiation dose monitoring and safety policies.
• Maintains imaging records and documentation per department policies.
• Ensures correct exam is performed on each patient and communicates clearly with patients and families.
• Positions and prepares patient and area for procedures, using appropriate exposure factors.
