Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX, is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to perform imaging across CT, MR, nuclear medicine, and related modalities. You will work with radiologists and licensed providers to diagnose disease and injury following established protocols.

The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, dose monitoring, patient communication, and handover of accurate documentation. Strong CT/NMTB-CT, PET, and radiation safety skills are required; BLS certification is expected

Qualifications

Must have completed an accredited radiologic program and hold MRT registration.
Certification in CT, radiation safety and nuclear medicine is required or preferred.
Proficiency with radiation safety standards and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to exam protocol.
Maintain imaging quality and equipment standards; monitor radiation dose reference levels.
Use iSTAT for point-of-care testing and obtain creatinine levels as needed.
Communicate with patients using AIDET; assess and adapt to patient tolerance.
Prepare patient, position area, and select appropriate exposure factors.
Maintain infection control, sterile technique, and safety throughout procedures.
Document requisitions, patient history, and imaging records per policy.
Collaborate with engineers/physicists to optimize equipment operation.
