Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie in Texas seeks a Multimodality Technologist to perform imaging in two or more modalities with emphasis on CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR. The role supports ambulatory and hospital patients under radiology supervision, applying established protocols.

The PRN variable-shift position requires effective patient communication, strict radiation safety, and accurate documentation while maintaining equipment and room readiness.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to perform high-quality multimodality procedures per exam protocol.
• Maintains safety by following radiation dose references and infection-control guidelines.
• Communicates clearly with patients using AIDET and ensures correct exam selection.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol. Maintains imaging quality and consistency.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation dose reference levels and takes action if exceeded.
• Uses iSTAT for creatinine levels when appropriate and communicates effectively with patients across the care team.
• Prepares patient and area, positions them correctly, and selects appropriate exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and work area; reports issues to management; assists with supply inventory.
