Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX, is seeking a Multimodality Technologist for the Radiology department. The role focuses on imaging across CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR under a Radiologist, with at least 25% in advanced modalities.

Works with ambulatory and hospital patients to diagnose disease and injury per protocols. Responsibilities include high-quality imaging, dose monitoring, patient communication, and maintaining equipment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic program and relevant MRT licensure.
• Experience: less than 1 year in radiology environments preferred.
• Certifications: MRT and CT/NMTC-PET related credentials listed in the ad.
• Compliance with safety, radiation and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform multimodality imaging across CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR under radiologist supervision.
• Operate within established protocols and maintain image quality and yield.
• Monitor radiation dose reference levels and take action if limits are exceeded.
• Use iSTAT for point-of-care testing as required and maintain patient safety.
• Communicate clearly with patients using AIDET and verify test appropriateness.
• Prepare patients, position them, and ensure equipment and area readiness.
