Job summary

The Heart Hospital in Waxahachie, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to perform imaging across CT, MR, and other modalities under Radiologist supervision. At least 25% of work focuses on advanced areas like CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR, with hospital patient care and protocol adherence.

Position requires ARRT/ARRT certifications, MRT, and BLS, with a 1-year FT commitment and a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Cardiac experience preferred.
• Certification: MRT and ARRT in multiple modalities.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol promptly.
• Maintains imaging quality and adheres to safety standards.
• Utilizes dose reference levels and monitors exposure; follows up as needed.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and ensures correct exam selection.
• Prepares patient and area; positions patient and adjusts equipment settings.
• Maintains equipment and department cleanliness; reports issues as needed.
• Maintains documentation and medical imaging records per policy.
