Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Transportation Engineer to support multimodal planning, safety, and operational studies in Arlington, VA. You will assist with corridor and intersection analyses, reviews of land development plans, and production of technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 years of experience (or a master’s with 1 year), and proficiency in traffic analysis tools, GIS, and design reviews. On-site role with collaborative teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 1 year.
Strong proficiency in traffic engineering practices and reporting.
Experience with traffic analysis, GIS, and site plan reviews.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
Prepare and modify portions of project reports, plans, and calculations.
Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates.
Assist engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
Self-sufficiently complete tasks including research, data collection, and field investigations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
