Job summary

KRXI/KAME is seeking a Multi-Media Journalist in Reno. You will report, shoot and edit news stories, develop enterprising story ideas, build contacts and handle other duties as assigned across TV, web and mobile platforms.

Daily content is produced for television, the internet, social networks and mobile devices. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in journalism or multimedia, solid live-shot experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in journalism, broadcasting, or multimedia storytelling, including internships, freelance work, or collegiate media experience.
• Experience with live shots is required.
• Experience with Live-U is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report, shoot and edit news stories, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts and other duties as assigned.
• Produce daily content on the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.

• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:
