You'll pitch and execute short-form, highly visual pieces, balance fast turns with planned features, and share work across social channels while adding local insights.

Qualifications

• College student studying journalism or related major.
• Junior or senior status encouraged to apply.
• Experience at a media outlet strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
• On-the-job training and professional development opportunities are provided throughout the co-op program.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and execute multimedia projects, emphasizing highly visual, short-form formats created originally and/or from third parties.
• Balance tight turnaround and advance-notice projects across general assignment news, sports, lifestyle, and things to do.
• Serve as a teamwide collaborator and resource on all Boston.com multimedia projects.
• Share content across our social channels with pertinent copy and local knowledge.
