Job summary

Cumulus Media Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time Multimedia Account Executive to help clients grow through multi-media options including radio, streaming, websites, and events.

You will identify client needs, deliver integrated sales presentations, and become a subject matter expert in digital assets and audience extension to drive revenue across a national network. Excellent communication and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years outside sales experience required; media sales preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Strong lead generation ability and robust pipeline management.
• Proficient with CRM tools/software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills.

Cumulus Media | Charleston, SC has an immediate opening for a full-time Multimedia Account Executive to join the Sales Team in assisting their clients in our Charleston, SC market – as well as contacts across the US – with multi-media business options that include both traditional media and highly targeted digital products, such as:

CUMULUS is seeking someone interested in modern, multifaceted media sales – that means selling multiple mediums and solutions. Successful candidates will be able to identify and develop new business opportunities; grow existing client relationships; offer solutions that help clients achieve their business goals; and meet or exceed set digital sales targets.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to identify client business needs through a deep understanding of their goals, objectives, and processes; as well as their external environment, including key market and consumer trends to proactively develop solutions to meet client objectives.
• Deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations (broadcast, digital, events, etc.)
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both digital assets (e.g., streaming, stations website and social advertising) and digital audience extension products to deliver a complete marketing solution to advertisers.
• Excel at prospecting and aggressively seeking new clientele by networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, or other means to build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects.
• Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and submit regular sales, reports – pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis.
• Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
• Think creatively and generate original ideas.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of successful outside sales experience required; exposure to Media Sales preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
• Comprehension of sales metrics, requirements to fill a sales funnel/robust pipeline of residual business.
• Tech-savvy – working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite programs, social networking platforms, and CRM tools/software platforms.
• Positive attitude and passion for the job
• Flexible and creative; willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Excellent communication skills.

USD $3,000.00 - USD $4,000.00 /Mo.

The monthly pay range listed above reflects your guaranteed income during your first year, with additional opportunities to earn commissions
