Job summary

Cumulus Media in Savannah is hiring a Multimedia Account Executive to drive multi‑platform advertising campaigns for local clients and national partners. You will sell radio, streaming, podcasts, websites, social ads and more, while building strong client relationships across the US.

The role focuses on identifying business needs, delivering integrated solutions, and growing a robust sales pipeline. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years outside sales experience with a business or marketing degree,

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of successful outside sales experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
• Familiarity with metrics to fill a sales funnel and pipeline of residual business.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; tech-savvy and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Identify client business needs by understanding goals, objectives and processes.
• Deliver multi-platform, integrated sales presentations (broadcast, digital, events).
• Become a SME in digital assets and audience extension products to present complete marketing solutions.
• Prospect and build a robust pipeline through networking, cold calls, canvassing and referrals.
• Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and submit regular sales forecasts and analyses.

Cumulus Media | Savannah has an immediate opening for a full-time Multimedia Account Executive to join the Sales Team in assisting their clients in our Savannah market – as well as contacts across the US – with multi-media business options that include both traditional media and highly targeted digital products, such as:

Local Cumulus radio stations reach over hundreds of thousands of people weekly in the Savannah metro area; but our reach extends well beyond that, with CUMULUS BROADCASTING’s network of radio stations across the US and our Westwood One Radio Network. Cumulus is seeking someone interested in modern, multifaceted media sales – that means selling multiple mediums and solutions. Successful candidates will be able to identify and develop new business opportunities; grow existing client relationships; offer solutions that help clients achieve their business goals; and meet or exceed set digital sales targets.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to identify client business needs through a deep understanding of their goals, objectives, and processes; as well as their external environment, including key market and consumer trends to proactively develop solutions to meet client objectives.
• Deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations (broadcast, digital, events, etc.)
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both digital assets (e.g., streaming, stations website and social advertising) and digital audience extension products to deliver a complete marketing solution to advertisers.
• Excel at prospecting and aggressively seeking new clientele by networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, or other means to build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects.
• Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and submit regular sales, reports – pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis.
• Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
• Think creatively and generate original ideas.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of successful outside sales experience required; exposure to Media Sales preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
• Comprehension of sales metrics, requirements to fill a sales funnel/robust pipeline of residual business.
• Tech-savvy – working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite programs, social networking platforms, and CRM tools/software platforms.
• Positive attitude and passion for the job
• Flexible and creative; willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Excellent communication skills.

USD $3,000.00 - USD $5,000.00 /Mo.

Pay Range

The monthly pay range listed above reflects your guaranteed income during your first year, with additional opportunities to earn commissions
