Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Medical Assistant II to act as an AltaMed ambassador at the clinic, PSC, or Patient Registry team.

The MA welcomes patients, provides routine care support, and helps ensure a positive, compassionate patient experience with accurate EHR documentation. Responsibilities include assisting in direct patient care, documenting specialties in the EHR, and supporting back‑office processes.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certificate and high school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of back-office/outpatient experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification and national MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direct patient care and routine procedures; supports clinical staff.
• Documents all care in the EHR and assists with back-office processes.
