Job summary

Innovative Environments in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Multifamily Signage to lead projects from concept through installation. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and top-quality results while serving as the primary liaison between internal teams, general contractors, and clients.

This role thrives in a collaborative, organized environment and requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PM experience in construction, signage or design-build.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily construction and signage packages.
• Experience with general contractors and AIA contracts preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Organize and review bid documents from developers and general contractors.
• Perform take-offs and develop preliminary signage budgets (SPW).
• Conduct local code research (sign, building, fire, ADA).
• Support proposal development and formatting for internal review.
• Build and maintain relationships with Design Consultants and clients.
• Enter and maintain project data in ERP systems (ExhibitPower).
• Review contracts against plans; identify scope gaps and discrepancies.
• Develop signage packages, quantities, specifications, and messaging.
• Coordinate conceptual design direction and internal project kickoff.
• Manage multiple signage projects from design through fabrication and installation.
• Provide weekly status updates, manage timelines, and resolve issues proactively.
• Communicate regularly with clients, general contractors, architects and Design Consultants.
• Schedule installations and track progress using Fieldwire and internal systems.
• Identify risks, manage delays, and maintain project momentum.
