Job summary

Innovative Environments, LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Installer of Commercial Signage in Houston, TX. The role supervises the on-site installation crew, ensures safety and quality, and directly handles ADA signage installation. Travel to out-of-state projects may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Fabrication experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency expected.
• Experience with jobsite management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site installation crew to ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, shipping, and clients to align on project status.
• Enter daily End of Install Reports and communicate issues in real time.
• Assist with sign fabrication/assembly and data entry as needed.

Position Description:

The Lead Installer is responsible for supervising the installation crew on-site to ensure the safety of the crew, quality of the installation, while providing world class service and effective communication to all parties. This position will also physically install ADA signage. Candidate must be able to travel out of state.

Installation Review and Preparation

• Meet with Project Manager and review entire sign package (job)
• Evaluate time needed to complete the job (hours/days)
• Determine labor (men needed to install)
• Determine equipment/tools needed to install
• Determine transportation of crew and product or signs. Coordinate with shipping team, as needed.
• Ensure City code for ADA sign has been researched and provided

Installation Crew Management (on-site)

• Meet with Project Manager and review entire sign package (job)

• Enter data into the End of Install Report (daily, at completion of installation)
• Keeping PM’s and Clients up to date in real time of any installation issues
• Input updates and information into Fieldwire (daily)

Sign Assembly Assistance

• Enter data into the End of Install Report (daily, at completion of installation)
• Keeping PM’s and Clients up to date in real time of any installation issues
• Input updates and information into Fieldwire (daily)
