Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I in Wichita, KS to assist with oversight of property maintenance and repairs. You will diagnose problems, perform general repairs, and help with make-readies to ensure units are move-in ready.

You will support preventive maintenance, use industry tools, and follow safety guidelines while serving residents and property teams on-site. A High School diploma or GED is preferred and you must provide your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills to perform job functions.
• Comfort with manual, task-oriented work under supervision.
• Knowledge of HVAC terminology and basic troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and general repairs to units.
• Complete maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep in common areas and exteriors.
• Assist with make-readies to move units to rent-ready condition.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance programs and safety compliance.
• Support on-call schedule and respond to resident requests per company standards.
