Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to assist with the oversight of physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction. You will diagnose problems, perform general repairs, and assist with apartment make-readies and preventive maintenance on a busy Lenexa, KS property.

The role requires basic computer skills, some maintenance/safety experience, and the ability to work under supervision. A High School diploma or GED is a plus, and you must provide your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.
• High School or GED is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to ensure repairs and make-readies are completed timely.
• Completes maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep including exterior grounds and common areas.
• Troubleshoots HVAC and assists with make-readies.
• Assists with preventive maintenance programs and reports hazards to management.
• Maintains and secures all property-issued tools and participates in on-call duties.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and safety requirements.
