Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to help oversee physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction at our Kansas properties. You will diagnose problems, perform general repairs, and assist with apartment make-readies.

You will support preventive maintenance and participate in construction or rehabilitation projects, maintaining safety and following company standards. Strong basic computer skills and hands-on maintenance capability are required.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
• High School or GED is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC is required and you must provide your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to ensure repairs and replacements are completed timely to restore units to move-in ready condition.
• Completes maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep, including exterior grounds and common areas.
• Troubleshoots HVAC and assists with make-readies.
• Assists with identification and correction of hazards and reports hazards to supervisors.
• Responsible for safety and compliance with OSHA and internal policies.
