Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to help oversee physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and make-readies.

You will work Monday–Friday with potential overtime, on-call shifts, and the ability to handle preventive maintenance and small construction projects.

Strong safety knowledge and EPA Section 608 certification are required. This position offers competitive hourly pay up to $27/hr.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Intermediate computer skills, including industry specific technology.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
• High School diploma – preferred.
• Required Certifications: EPA section 608 Type I – Appliance.
• Working knowledge of basic appliance repairs.
• Must provide own industry tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to establish priorities with daily assistance from Community Manager and Service Manager.
• Completes maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep within company standards including exterior grounds and common areas of the property; HVAC electrical component repair and assist with make-readies as needed.
• Assists with the identification and correction of hazardous conditions and reports hazards to Community Manager and Service Manager.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented per BH guidelines.
• Responsible for maintenance and security of all property-issued tools.
• Post notices and other community communication, if applicable.
• Shares on-call responsibilities, including inclement weather, with the maintenance team; respond to resident requests per company standards.
• Understand and comply with OSHA and all safety requirements; knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and internal policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
