Job summary

Redwood Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for large-scale multifamily renovations in Texas. The role involves managing due diligence, scope, bids, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to deliver finish packages on schedule.

The position requires 5+ years in multifamily renovation, strong procurement and budgeting skills, and travel across Texas. Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or certificate program preferred.
• 5+ years experience in renovation of multifamily projects.
• General knowledge of construction practices.
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review due diligence material and manage scope of work to deliver the finish package.
• Procure local subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for bidding and execution of work.
• Manage the RFP process for renovation projects.
• Create bid comparisons to present to Regional Construction Manager and Director of Construction for scopes of work.
• Host project kickoff meetings with on-site staff.
• Track and update live budgets for renovation projects.
• Participate in all project construction calls.
• Monitor construction activities and inventory of materials; visit sites twice weekly.
• Implement and communicate progress schedule and revisions.
• Coordinate with architects/engineering contacts and city/county officials for permits and inspections.
