Job summary

The Morgan Group is seeking a maintenance professional to support interior and exterior property upkeep, repairs, and safety compliance across our Florida properties. You will handle service requests, coordinate with vendors, and maintain facilities including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting—while ensuring a safe, organized work environment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or better and EPA Certification; prior maintenance in property management is preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA certification is required.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Experience in maintenance with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems preferred in property management.

Responsibilities

• Follow Morgan’s Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, and Operations manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Perform tasks safely and provide customer service.
• Handle service requests, turnovers, and assist vendors as assigned by Lead Maintenance.
• Assist in maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, appliances, electrical, heating and painting.
• Keep the work area organized.
• Report parts or supplies to Lead Maintenance for ordering.
• Inventory shipments and stock; give packing slips to Community Manager.
• Escalate safety and maintenance issues promptly to Lead Maintenance.
• Assist upkeep of interior and exterior of the property.
• Maintain vehicle and pool/spa areas.
• Replace lights and maintain exterior trash areas.
• Comply with required trainings.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
