Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain property buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, perform routine maintenance, and handle resident service requests.

The role requires experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repair, with on-call availability and strong safety practices.

HVAC certification and EPA Type I/II are preferred, plus a valid driver’s license and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerants.
• Experience in multifamily/apartment maintenance is highly desired.
• Available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical integrity and appearance of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and track repairs in work-order system.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation and efficiency.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (inspections, punch lists, scheduling contractors).
• Maintain clean and functional amenity areas, including breezeways and pools.
• Manage tools and inventory; notify supervisors of reorder needs.
• Support safety policies by attending meetings and OSHA training; report incidents.
• Inspect vendor work for quality and scope; assist in property inspections.
