Job summary

Barrett & Stokely in Indianapolis is seeking a Leasing Professional/Assistant Property Manager to help lead onsite staff and deliver exceptional resident service at Canal Square.

You will collect rents, issue notices, assist with financial reporting, prepare renewal offers and leases, inspect units, and input occupancy data. Requires a HS diploma, 2 years in multifamily management or related experience, and proficiency with MS Office and Entrata.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 2 years related experience in multifamily management, leasing, sales or customer service.
• Knowledge of multifamily property management practices and Fair Housing laws helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager in leading staff to ensure resident service.
• Collect and post rent payments; issue late notices; initiate eviction if needed.
• Assist with financial and operational reporting.
• Generate renewal offers and draft leases after return of offers.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in to ensure readiness for new residents.
• Input daily resident information from walk-ins, move-ins/move-outs, and conditions.
• Comply with housing laws and local regulations.
