Job summary

Hamilton Zanze in San Francisco is seeking a Project Manager (Associate level) to lead capital improvement and renovation projects across our multifamily portfolio, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while protecting asset value. You will develop budgets, schedules, manage bids, coordinate with lenders and vendors, and support due diligence for acquisitions.

Travel about 20% and PMP is a plus. Bachelor’s degree required; PMP a plus; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Well organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital improvement, renovation, and repositioning projects across assigned multifamily properties, from scope definition and budgeting through construction and close-out.
• Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and draw requests in coordination with ownership, lenders, and third-party consultants.
• Solicit bids, evaluate proposals, and manage contractor and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and change order review.
