The ideal candidate combines leadership with solid budgeting and regulatory knowledge, and holds an active NC Real Estate Broker License.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of multifamily property management experience.
• Current North Carolina Real Estate Broker License required.
• Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and operational performance management.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned multifamily communities to maximize resident satisfaction and property performance.
• Develop and implement leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategies to maintain high occupancy and optimize rental income.
• Manage operating budgets and financial performance; ensure revenue and expense goals are met.
• Prepare monthly owner reports and maintain records related to property operations and financial performance.
• Supervise vendor and contract services for repairs to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct regular property inspections (move-in/out, common areas, safety).
• Resolve resident concerns promptly and maintain high customer service standards.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for quality services.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws including Fair Housing.
