Job summary

Olen Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a full-time role in Boynton Beach, FL. You will handle apartment maintenance, turnovers, and a variety of repairs to keep residents safe and satisfied. A focus on quality workmanship and customer service is essential.

The position requires 1–2 years of related experience, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the use of your own hand tools. You may be asked to respond to emergencies after hours and on weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1–2 years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must provide and use own hand tools unless otherwise specified.
• Effective problem solving and time management skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Team player attitude.
• Able to respond to emergency calls after hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and air conditioning.
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for occupancy and turnover.
• Participate in community maintenance duties, including building upkeep, preventative maintenance, and groundskeeping.
• Complete work orders and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and vendors.
