Job summary

Olen Living in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking a skilled full-time Maintenance Technician for our Highland Groves apartment community. You will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including unit turnovers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, and customer service to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of related maintenance experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to respond to emergency calls after hours,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
• Strong customer service and a passion for helping people.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Own hand tools required unless otherwise specified by the property.
• Problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and dependable.
• Able to respond to emergency calls after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform apartment maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC.
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for occupancy and turnover.
• Participate in community maintenance duties, including preventative maintenance and groundskeeping.
