Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders and maintain apartment communities in Austin, TX. You will help ensure resident satisfaction by delivering timely repairs and keeping common areas clean and safe.

The role requires 1+ year of maintenance experience, EPA certification, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends. You must have your own tools and reside within 30 minutes of the community.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance or repair experience.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification required.
• Proficient in trades like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the community.
• Willing to work varied schedules including weekends/holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders promptly to drive resident satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas (pools, laundry, Clubhouse, parking, etc.).
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to protect property value.
