Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Premier at West Park in Greeley, Colorado. The role supports daily property maintenance, responding to service requests and performing preventative tasks to keep the multifamily community safe and well-maintained.

You will work under the Maintenance and Community Managers, handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry, and contribute to resident satisfaction and asset preservation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in property maintenance.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for on-call emergencies.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including frequent lifting of 50 to 80 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Colorado Applicants should expect transparent upfront communication of rent, fees, and resident services.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues and ensuring quality resolution
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and support scheduled inspections of building systems and equipment
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers to support occupancy and readiness goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and communicate updates to leadership
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards
• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA and company policies
• Assist with vendor coordination and notify leadership when additional support is needed
• Participate in emergency response efforts and on-call rotations as required
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members to support a positive experience
