Horizon Management Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician to service three properties in the Janesville and Madison area. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with vendors to keep buildings in excellent condition.

The role requires 3+ years in property maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Some on-call work is required.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, ideally in multi-family housing.
• Technical school or vocational training in building maintenance is helpful.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required; travel to sites is needed.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems.

Mansioni

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Inspect building systems and address issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for projects and repairs.
• Handle emergency repairs during after-hours on-call rotation.
• Maintain resident relations through professional service and timely communication.
• Prepare units for occupancy; complete punch lists and safety checks.
• Record work orders, inspections, and inventory; ensure safety and compliance.
