Horizon Management Services in the Janesville/Madison area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support three properties (Diamond Ridge, Burr Oaks, Ellis Potter). You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turnovers, with on-call rotation every other week for Janesville sites.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and safety, work with vendors as needed, and deliver excellent resident service while maintaining move-in quality and

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel to properties required.

Mansioni

• Perform routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Diagnose and repair issues in apartments and common areas promptly.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedule and document tasks.
• Handle after-hours on-call rotation and emergency repairs.
• Provide excellent resident service and communicate with management.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and coordinate repairs/inspections.
• Maintain safety compliance and follow company policies.
• Record work orders, inspect findings, and manage inventories.
