Job summary

BH Management, LLC is hiring a Service Technician II in Daytona Beach, FL. You will assist with the oversight of physical assets, diagnose problems, and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.

You’ll support preventive maintenance and assist with make-readies and rehab projects while upholding safety and customer service standards. The role requires at least two years of maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and EPA certification familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Intermediate computer skills with industry-specific technology.
• High School diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to prioritize tasks with daily input from the Community Manager and Service Manager.
• Completes maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep, including exterior grounds and common areas, and assists with make-readies as needed.
• Identifies and corrects hazards and reports them to the Community Manager and Service Manager.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented.
• Maintains property-issued tools and safety equipment.
• Posts notices and coordinates with residents as needed.
• Shares on-call responsibilities with the maintenance team.
• Responds to resident requests per company standards.
• Complies with OSHA and other safety requirements.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and internal policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
