Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to assist with oversight of physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances, while supporting make-readies and preventive maintenance.

You’ll work under supervision and uphold safety standards. Ideal candidates hold at least two years in maintenance, EPA Type I certification, and own hand tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Intermediate computer skills, including industry specific technology.
• High School diploma – preferred.
• Required Certifications: EPA section 608 Type I – Appliance
• Working knowledge of basic appliance repairs.
• Required to provide own (industry specific) hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Use technology to establish priorities with supervision from Community/Service Manager.
• Complete maintenance requests and upkeep within standards, including exterior grounds.
• Identify and correct hazardous conditions and report hazards.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and document per BH guidelines.
• Maintain and secure all property-issued tools.
• Post notices and community communications as applicable.
• Share on-call duties and respond to resident requests per standards.
• Comply with OSHA and local codes and internal policies.
