Job summary

GoldOller Real Estate Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Petersburg, VA area. The role focuses on safe, timely maintenance of multifamily properties, including unit turns, basic repairs, and resident requests.

Must have at least 1 year in maintenance or technical training, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include inventory control, safety compliance, and coordination with the Service Manager to ensure high-quality property upkeep and resident

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience or technical trade school.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Must own basic maintenance tools.
• EPA Certification required; CPO or CAMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage expenses by following inventory and purchasing procedures.
• Approve overtime at least 24 hours in advance, except emergencies.
• Inspect units at move-in/out and document deductions.
• Report billable service charges and lease violations.
• Maintain professional image and positive attitude at all times.
• Communicate daily with the Service Manager and provide updates.
• Complete all reports and work orders accurately and on time.
• Follow safety practices and attend safety meetings.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• In the absence of a Service Manager, report to leadership.
