Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, residential, or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential units and common areas (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, doors, locks, windows, fixtures).
• Prepare units for new residents through repairs, painting, and inspections to meet company standards before move-in; report larger capital repair needs.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, inspect building systems and equipment, and maintain maintenance logs and work orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas; assist with landscaping, snow removal, trash removal, and exterior upkeep; monitor property safety hazards.
• Coordinate with property management and outside vendors; escort vendors; communicate repair status and timelines to management.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations; respond to after-hours emergencies on on-call rotation; ensure proper use and storage of tools.
