Job summary

Aura Living seeks a reliable Maintenance Technician for our Nampa, Idaho community. You will respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours, inspect units and common areas, perform repairs, and prepare vacant apartments for occupancy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with property maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems and safety practices.
• Valid Idaho driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability to operate light construction equipment and perform basic repairs.
• Must have a valid Idaho driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests within 24 hours with clear notes.
• Inspect units, common areas and perform preventive and corrective repairs.
• Paint interiors/exteriors and perform carpentry as needed.
• Ensure safety, security, and proper lighting across the property.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and turnover within 3–5 days.
• Assist with apartment turnover, gas/electric cutoffs, and basic repairs.
• Adhere to safety policies and on-site directives; assist Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
• Repair lights, plumbing, and electrical issues; replace fittings and fixtures as required.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces; change locks when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and participate in meetings/seminars as directed.
