Peabody Properties, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for a new apartment community in Baldwinville, MA. The role supports the Service Manager in operating the property with routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair and more.

Responsibilities include basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, janitorial duties, grounds maintenance and timely issue resolution. Strong customer service and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years facilities maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service and English communication skills.
• Solid computer skills; able to work independently.
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance.
• Address electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and locks/keys tasks.
• Carpentry, painting and drywall repair as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas and exterior grounds.
• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Assist Service Manager with property operations.
