Job summary

Capano Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs, and to implement preventative maintenance across a multifamily property in Delmar, MD. You will respond quickly to emergencies and help keep common areas in good repair.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with own transportation and tools, basic handyman skills, and the ability to read instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Must have valid driver’s license, own transportation and tools.
• Basic hand tools required to perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete inspections of buildings, units, office and amenity space as needed.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
