Job summary

Capano Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician/General Maintenance in Philadelphia, PA. You will perform routine repairs across building systems, respond to maintenance requests, and support preventative maintenance programs in a multifamily housing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic hand tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills and basic knowledge of construction and repair processes.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, own transportation, and tools.
• High school diploma or GED required; six months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
• Implement preventative maintenance measures and inspections of buildings.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and follow safety protocol.
• Maintain common areas and grounds; perform other maintenance duties as requested.
