Job summary

KPM is seeking a reliable Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform a variety of tasks to keep our residential properties safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, plus responding to resident requests, assisting with turnover, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in multifamily maintenance or similar field preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Assist with apartment turnover and make-ready processes.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain maintenance tools and inventory materials.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure property standards are upheld.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance guidelines.
