Job summary

Roundhouse in Montana is seeking a part-time maintenance technician to keep our multifamily properties in top condition. You’ll perform hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems, respond to work orders quickly, and ensure safety and quality in every task.

You’ll walk the properties to spot issues early, maintain clear records, and participate in on-call rotations. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in general maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond quickly to work orders and complete tasks to a high-quality finish.
• Walk the property to catch maintenance issues early and ensure safety and health code compliance.
• Keep grounds, building exteriors, and common areas clean and functional.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and manage purchases.
• Maintain clear records of materials, hours, and completion status.
• Take turns in after-hours on-call rotation and assist with snow and ice removal.
• Keep maintenance software up to date and accurate.
