Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity and appearance of the property. You will handle routine maintenance, respond to resident service requests, and support safe, efficient operation across buildings and common areas.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and vendor coordination, with emphasis on safety and compliance with local codes. On-call availability may be required to meet property needs.

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I/II or Universal.
• Multifamily maintenance experience desired.
• Emergency on-call availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license for golf cart operation.
• Customer-service oriented with residents.
• Detail-oriented with safety compliance.
• Other state/local certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Respond to resident service requests and track via work orders.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure safe operation.
• Prepare vacant units, inspections, punch lists, and scheduling.
• Maintain amenity areas through cleaning and minor painting.
• Manage tools, materials, and inventory with reorder alerts.
• Support safety policies and OSHA training.
• Inspect vendors' work for quality and scope.
• Assist in property inspections for upkeep.
