Job summary

Fogelman Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Nashville to perform maintenance requests and repairs across properties with a focus on resident satisfaction. You will execute make-readies, manage tools, and coordinate with the Service Director to ensure timely repairs.

The role requires at least three years in apartment maintenance, HVAC certification, and a willingness to work on-call rotations, with safety and Fair Housing adherence as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Three years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in computers and online applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready units.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide personal tools for work.
• Keep work area, tools and equipment clean.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
• Follow safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including safety and Fair Housing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
