Brookside Properties in Nashville, TN is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities, respond to service requests, and prepare vacant units for occupancy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, maintenance experience in multifamily housing, HVAC knowledge, and the ability to work after hours. A valid set of basic tools and reliable transportation is required. EPA Type II or Universal certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing.
• HVAC experience; EPA certification (Type II or Universal) is a plus.
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems.
• Ability to handle after-hours calls.
• Basic tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities to high standards.
• Handle service requests and prepare vacant apartments for occupancy.
• Respond promptly to repair requests, including after-hours calls.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
