Job summary

RangeWater is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work that ensures the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

You will lead the maintenance team, hire and train staff, manage work orders, diagnose defects, inspect work, coordinate with vendors, and assist with budgeting while maintaining safety and compliance across site operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. OSHA/MSDS knowledge. Technical degree preferred.
• Supervisor Experience: 1-3 years; ability to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage subordinates.
• Management: 1-3 years; 2-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Advanced Skills: Communication and delivery with ability to connect to people at all levels.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; strong in Entrata Yardi and One Site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform maintenance to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Lead maintenance team; hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Handle work orders from residents and routine upkeep; diagnose and repair issues.
• Inspect work and supervise contractors; ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage inventory and assist in budgeting; support cost-control programs.
