Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Dixon, CA to lead maintenance staff and ensure high-quality service for residents. You will oversee move-in readiness, timely repairs, and curb appeal while coordinating with the Community Manager and vendors.

Your role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer care across properties. The position requires 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, 1+ year supervising teams, and skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect and addressing maintenance requests promptly.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident and management work orders.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify hazards and perform maintenance.
• Manage maintenance supplies inventory and adhere to budget guidelines.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program and ensure safety standards are followed.
