Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for safety, cleanliness, and overall function. You will handle service requests, diagnose issues, and repair systems as needed.

You will lead make-ready inspects, coordinate vendors, and maintain supplies within budget while upholding safety policies and high resident service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance preferred.
• Must be skilled in safe use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose maintenance issues and complete work orders.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and ensure quality.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
• Attend safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and MSDS requirements.
