Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical work ensuring community buildings and grounds meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

You will diagnose and repair resident-service requests, run the make-ready process for vacant units, and coordinate vendors while maintaining safety and code compliance. A strong customer-service focus and valid toolset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; safe use of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents and team.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal HVAC certification when required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose service requests and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units; schedule vendors and inspect work.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies within budget.
• Support monthly preventive maintenance and budgeting for repairs.
