Job summary

American Property Management is seeking a maintenance technician for Morada Crossings in Stockton, CA. This on-site role runs Monday–Friday with possible overtime and requires living within 30 miles of the property.

You’ll assist in getting units rent-ready and perform turnover tasks, grounds work, and safety-compliant duties. HVAC and CPO certifications are preferred, a valid driver’s license is required, and basic hand tools are needed while power tools are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance within the last 10 years.
• Must be well-versed in the unit turn process from start to finish.
• Must have experience in tracking and maintaining inventory.
• Must provide your own basic hand tools – company will provide power tools.
• Driver's license is required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in getting units “rent ready”.
• Abide by safety requirements at all times.
• Safely use chemicals and equipment as part of daily duties.
• Maintain grounds, work and storage areas and dumpster areas daily to ensure curb appeal.
• Paint and clean as needed to ensure timely unit turnover.
• Ensure lawns are mowed and entryways, walkways and driveways are blown and debris-free.
• Ensure equipment is serviced regularly to maintain safe operations.
• Be on-call for emergencies or snow removal.
• Maintain and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Clean units as needed.
